United Med Care Ambulance has recently invested in a new bariatric stretcher designed to improve patient safety and comfort during transport. The new stretcher boasts a weight capacity of 850-1,600 pounds, significantly exceeding the capacity of their standard stretchers, which are limited to 500 pounds.
This upgrade is a significant step forward for the ambulance service, as it will allow them to better serve patients of all sizes. The bariatric stretcher is wider and sturdier than traditional models, providing increased stability and support for larger individuals.
